Stan Mills
As President, Stan’s primary focus is to manage the sales and operations of The Mills Company, Inc. After starting in the industry in 1989, he has managed various lines and territories across the Southeast. Stan graduated from East Carolina University in 1989 and has called Eastern North Carolina home for his entire life. Stan has established a reputation for building lasting relationships with both his customers and brands that he represents. Over the last decade, Stan has focused on expanding his team to better service the North Carolina and South Carolina market. The Mills Company, Inc. prides itself on understanding and anticipating the needs of our customer base. Outside of work, Stan enjoys spending time at the beach with his family.
Rodney Jennings
Rodney Jennings has been in the wholesale lighting and electrical industry for over 15 years. Rodney has diverse work experiences from early beginnings as a small business owner to working in construction and property management before finding his way to the lighting industry. Rodney has represented several lines over the years and worked with a large number of showrooms. As an account manager, Rodney strives to meet the business needs of his clients, while also developing personal relationships. Outside of work, you can find Rodney hiking along the Appalachian Trail and Blue Ridge Mountains. He also enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Hunter Mills
Hunter Mills started with The Mills Company, Inc in 2022 after spending over five years in sales and consulting. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2017 with a B.A. in Economics. Hunter provides quality service to build and maintain his relationships with his customers. He lives in Wilmington, NC and focuses on the coastal territories of North and South Carolina. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the boat with his family and fishing the NC Coast.
Sheldon Fowler
Sheldon Fowler has been in the wholesale lighting industry for nine years covering South Carolina for Visual Comfort & Co. She started with The Mills Company, Inc. in 2024. She has a wealth of knowledge dealing with the wholesale and interior design markets and works diligently to extend superior customer service to her clients to develop lasting relationships. Sheldon is focused on handling lighting showrooms and brick and mortar design firms for The Mills Company, Inc. Clients appreciate her hard work and remain loyal to her and the brands she represents. Outside of work, she enjoys running and anything that takes her outside. She resides in beautiful Charleston, SC.
Jason Evans
Jason Evans joins The Mills Company, Inc. after spending the previous 15 years in sales team and national account management roles with three different lighting and ceiling fan manufacturers. The goal in joining The Mills Company, Inc. is to build relationships and friendships thru consultation, follow up and partnership. A graduate of Arizona State University in 1999, Jason moved to Lake Norman, NC in 2006 where he currently resides. Jason enjoys all things outdoors and will be spending lots of time visiting his children at university over the next 4 years.
Karen Vizard
Karen Vizard has worked in the lighting and electrical business for 19 years and has worked with The Mills Company, Inc. for over five years. As customer service manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations, quotation maintenance, product forecasting and provides excellent customer support to ensure that orders and problem solving are executed as quickly as possible. Her goal is to be a proactive liaison between our customers and our brands. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Erica Vizard
Erica Vizard has been in sales support for over eight years and in the lighting and electrical industry for nearly three years. After spending her early career in emergency medicine, she briefly left the workforce to take care of her children. Erica’s experience allows her to work well under pressure, gives her a keen eye for detail and always works well in a diverse team environment. Erica prides herself on keeping communication open, quickly resolving issues, and ultimately creating lasting relationships with our customers. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
